Chic Weekend Look

Hey Friends!

You know I love chic, and today’s outfit is no different as I’m adding a fun pop of style via a awesome jacket on this fun, stylish weekend look. So let’s take an in-depth look at how I chose the outfit, why I think it works and get all the details on these pieces for you to shop!

Don’t forget to comment below with your thoughts on the look and the pieces!

Ashley Rowe Jacket

The piece that started this look was the jacket, believe it or not I just recently heard of Ashley Rowe, and wanted to check her clothes out. (I happened to be travelling to Marfa, TX for a photoshoot and got to check out her store and model some of her clothing and accessories!) Plus, I really like the cut - perfect for the winter season. This one is from Ashley Rowe, a Vouge fashion designer that is well known for her modern and minimalistic clothing (depicted by the jacket. Great quality, keeps you warm and offers style to boot!)

Without The Jacket

Neutrals

Since I really wanted the jacket to sing in this outfit, I opted to finish the look with neutrals to let the jacket take the spotlight. So I kept it simple: black plain long-sleeved shirt (these have been on major repeat it - find similar, more affordable shirts here), a black stretchy topped skirt pulled up high, and black leggings. Most of these items you probably already have in your wardrobe! (and if not, you can easily find them with Google!).

Accessories & Shoes

You’ve seen me wear the Born Black Heels before and this look uses them once again - big fan of these with their chic look.

Since I really wanted the Jacket to be the spotlight this time, I opted to leave accessories out.

Will you be replicating this look for your weekend outings? Let me know in the comments below!

xo,
